PACE

The PACE project, promoted by the United World College of the Adriatic, aims to harness the power of education in the process of rebuilding post conflict societies facing challenges of social and cultural change. Led by the UnitedWorldCollege of the Adriatic and co-financed by theAdriatic New Neighbourhood Programme INTERREG-CARDS/PHARE, the project is being developed in collaboration with a wide range of partners throughout the Adriatic region: in Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro.

One of the most relevant aspects of the project is that it will enable secondary school teachers and educational institutions and agencies work together to foster innovation within national educational systems.

LA CARTA DELLA TERRA

The project on the Earth Charter is the result of cooperation among NGOs and schools of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia and aims to promote education in global citizenship. During its implementation some lesson plans and teaching strategies will be developed in order to educate students in the values and principles enunciated by the Earth Charter, a declaration of fundamental values and principles for building a just, sustainable, and peaceful global society in the 21st century.
